Preached on the occasion of our annual Christmas party.
Love forgives, dismisses all guilt of others who sin against it. It doesn’t take into account a wrong suffered.
Love not only doesn’t make people angry, love also doesn’t get angry. You can’t make love angry!
Love does not seek its own interests, but sacrificially serves others. Die daily.
This is a rather serious sermon, I must say. I was difficult to preach. Love is considerate, not shameful.
Pride is sneaky; don’t let it dominate your life. Learn to love instead.
Love doesn’t brag, but boasts in Christ and His cross. How easy it is to have a bragging mouth … or at least a bragging heart.
In the church, love is inconsistent with and it contradicts jealousy. Instead, love rejoices with others and doesn’t long for what they have.
Love is patient and kind. Get patience NOW! =)
If you boil it all down, what are the necessities of a church? What are the signs that you serve in a true New Testament church?
