Dale Tschigerl
Dale did not grow up in a Christian home, but the Lord in His mercy and kindness granted him faith and repentance when he was in his 20s. He had a fulfilling twenty-year career with the Government of Saskatchewan working in corrections. While living in Northern Saskatchewan, Dale first heard expository preaching and learned about the doctrines of grace. He served as a youth pastor and elder in Buffalo Narrows, SK. Dale felt the Lord calling him into full-time ministry, which lead him and his family to The Masters Seminary (TMS) in Los Angeles, CA to pursue a master’s degree. He graduated from TMS with a Master of Divinity in 2022. The four years at TMS while attending Grace Community Church (GCC) under the leadership of pastor John MacArthur was a valuable time of learning, mentoring, and ministry for his entire family. Dale was blessed to also serve at GCC as Dr. Carl Hargrove’s intern with grace advance, a church planting ministry. He earned his certification as a biblical counselor with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC). Before moving to Athabasca, AB, he served as an associate pastor in Saskatoon, SK at Fellowship Baptist Church for a couple of years. Dale has been the pastor at Northlight Baptist Church since December 2024. He and his wife, Carla, have three children.
